This fast-track refurbishment, alteration and fit-out of a luxury retailer’s flagship store required exacting standards of workmanship in keeping with the brand. Careful management of the works was required as the store remained trading throughout.
The retailer has occupied its prestigious Mayfair address for over 200 years. Aspects of the works included window removal and refurbishment, and repurposing and restoring original furniture, some dating back to the early 20th century. We also created new cabinets and bespoke joinery to match the existing features.
We reorganised the store layout and created a second changing room by converting an existing office. We redecorated throughout, and installed new displays, including to the shop windows.
Works were carefully planned, sequenced, and segregated, and we consulted regularly with store management throughout. This allowed trading to continue uninterrupted, without noise, dust or construction activities affecting the customer experience.
